Sound skipping or
noise
There is a fl aw or foreign objects
on the disc.
Remove the foreign objects, or use
a fl awless disc. For MP3, refer to
“Notes on MP3” (page 62).
Sound skipping due to
vibration
The unit is not suffi ciently secured. Mount the unit securely with the
mounting parts, referring to the
installation instructions.
Disc unejectable Something such as a peeled label
prevents the disc from coming out.
Press [<] (eject). If failure persists,
press the reset switch (page 92). If
normal operation is not restored, call
the store where you purchased the unit
or the nearest Panasonic Servicenter.
The microcontroller in the unit
operates abnormally due to noise
or other factors.
Unplug the power cord and plug it
again. In case the unit is still out of
order, consult the dealer.
The buttons do not
work.
Some operations are not permitted
with certain discs.
Refer to the guide provided with your
disc.
DVD video/Video CD/CD/MP3

The playability of some CD-R/RWs
may depend on the combination
of media, recording software
and recorder to be used even if
these CD-R/RWs are playable on
other devices such as a personal
computer.
Make CD-R/RWs in different
combination of media, recording
software and recorder after referring to
the description about MP3.
A disc that cannot be played back
on this unit is inserted.
This unit can only play the following
types of discs: DVD video, Video CD,
CD, CD-DA data recorded CD-R or
CD-RW, and MP3 data recorded CD
media (CD-ROM, CD-R, CD-RW).

Cables are not correctly connected. Connect cables correctly.
SD card

Picture distorted. Picture quality may worsen or
some frames may be skipped when
viewing MPEG4, but this is normal.
Distorted sound. There may be some noise output
when playing MPEG4 and VOICE

D.Range Compression is set to
“OFF” or “Standard”.
Set DISPLAY setting to ON (page 75).The display does not
