Switching the display
Press DISP to select the desired display.
Press DISP repeatedly to switch between the
following displays:
Service Label and Preset channel list = Service
Label and Service Component Label = Service
Label and Dynamic Label = Service Label and
Ensemble Label
The lowest part of the source status display
always as above.
Note
• With a service component that has no service
component label or dynamic label, neither is
displayed when you switch to service compo-
nent label and dynamic label.
Using dynamic label
Dynamic label provides character information
concerning the service component you’re cur-
rently listening to. You can scroll the displayed
information.
Notes
• The tuner automatically memorizes the three
latest dynamic label received, replacing text
from the least recent reception with new text
when it is received.
• When the Dynamic label of the service cur-
rently being received is indicated, the current
indicator is displayed.
Displaying dynamic label
1 Press PAUSE/TEXT on the head unit to dis-
play dynamic label.
• Press the PAUSE/TEXT on the head unit once
more, or press the BAND/ESC , and the dynamic
label mode is canceled.
• When no dynamic label is currently being
received, NO TEXT is displayed.
2 Press 2 or 3 to recall the three most
recent dynamic label.
Pressing 2 or 3 switches between the current
and the three dynamic label data displays.
• If there is no dynamic label data in memory
the display will not change.
3 Press ∞ to scroll the dynamic label.
• When viewing dynamic label, do not operate
until you have parked your car safely.
• If you press 5, you return to the first line.
• If you select the dynamic label mode again
after having canceled it, the information may
switch to the latest available.
Switching the road traffic flash
and transport flash on or off
• Press TA/NEWS to turn the road traffic flash
and transport flash on. The T(RFC) indicator
lights.
• Press TA/NEWS again to turn the road traffic
flash and transport flash off.
