Question About Clarion Car Stereo System None
cannot get code in display...

hi i got a problem with my xantia radio i took it out to do a repair and when i put it back i could not remember the code it then locked out on me when i entered the wrong code 4 times so i got the correct code from citroen head office today but now when i turn it on the lcd display shows this - - - - tried leaving on for 5 hours but nothing.. i tried pressing the bnd button and the dispay changes to = = = = i cannot get it to allow me to enter the code in display ??? any one know how to get it to unlock so i can enter new code ????

5 put the key in the ignition. press bnd so that ==== comes upon the display. leaves the car like that fo just over 1 hour. when you return to the car the stereo shouldsay CODE IN ener the correct code now...

5 Thanks for this fix, worked for me, when I had waited 39 hrs with stereo in other mode like Citroen told me. When that didn't work they said there is no quick fix and they tried to charge me £50-£60. I read 'easy mate' and that worked have been listening to it today and am impressed. Many thanks again Steve
