im hooking up my jvc cd reciever in my 96 honda ci...

im hooking up my jvc cd reciever in my 96 honda civic. when i shut my car off, my stereo looses its memory. i have the hot wire from stereo hooked to my radio / clock fuse . what is wrong? model #kdhdr20 radio.
