0 Hello forum-goers! I've just bought an '04 Subaru Outback which came from Japan fully loaded, and it's got a Panasonic Strada CN-DV150 unit which (from what I could gather from the icons on the screen) comes with: DVD, parking sensor, TV, FM, GPS navigation and an SD card reader for the maps caching while you're playing videos on the DVD player. After a lot of Googling around (mainly using Google Translate) I have reached a dead-end. Panasonic NZ tells me it is not possible to change the language or do anything to get it to work with NZ stuff (even if it's just DVD playing and PAL TV) and I'm stuck with a nice 'dashboard ornament' (their words). Of course, I would love to get NAV to work, but I have little to no hope of even getting the menus to show up in english. Has anyone been in this situation? Anyone got any ideas on what to do? If I can't get it to work at least for DVD playing (NTSC there vs. PAL here, plus region stuff), I'll probably go the custom car-puter way.
