My monitor is continually flashing a message in the centre of the screen - OSD main controls locked and then OSD main controls unlocked

0 hi, i have a different problem with the same monitor but found a solution to your problem in this pdf download of the repair manual for this series of monitor, there is a cobination of buttons to hold while you turn on the power... maybee it was the auto button for 20 seconds and it displays this message as it locks control of the brightness/contrast etc...
