Question About Pioneer Car Stereo System deh 49001b
car engine on- radio off. car ignition switch in accessory spot radio works...

I had this model car stereo professionally installed in my 96 VW Jetta and when the car's engine is running the radio won't turn on. However, when I only turn the key to the on position but don't start the car the radio will turn on and play fine. What gives?
