Question About Pioneer Car Stereo System FH-P8800
pioneer fh-p8800...

the head unit has been in my truck for a couple of years i installed the amp and speakers without disconnecting power from the head unit 2 set's of audio cables,amp turn on wire from unit to amp .when i turned it on the tuner worked but the CD player did not the CD shows it playing but no audio i reset the microprocesser but no change im stumped.

0 just so im clear on the radio i installed it 2 or 3 years ago in my toyota truck everything worked fine (cd,tuner)then a couple of days ago i put a 4 channel pioneer amp and 6 speakers and was able to leave the radio installed without disconnecting it .i guess it could have just went bad thanx for looking to fix the problem

0 i think i know what the problem is i forgot that pioneer has 2 remote leads 1 is for the radio antenna the other one is amp. turn on i think the radio antenna lead looses power when the CD is selected and im sure i used the antenna lead for amp turn on
