Problems with our Polaroid portable DVD player #PDM-2727 cropped up after about 6 months -- "bad disc" was the message we were getting. The manual does not even acknowledge this error message. Doesn't matter what I press, or if I clean the scanning device lens, it just won't recognize the disc. Is there a PC board error or part failure they are not telling us about? Thanks for your help and input.
