I have a bout 8 year old Rockford fosgate 1500 watts thats...

I have a bout 8 year old Rockford fosgate 1500 watts that's been sitting n the closet for bout 6 years. I hooked it up to a 15" kicker solo-baric n the amp will light up but it doesn't make the speaker perform at all. I've hooked another amp up to the solo-baric so I know the speaker works. what can I do to find out whats wrong with the amp??
