I get a bright display when I got the receiver. I usually remove the face plate when I park my car. I put back the face plate back & the display is very dim. I tried the the reset button but I suppose that only resets the time & preset stations. because I do not have the original user manual, I would like to know if there is A way to increase the brightness? or do I need to but A new face plate?
