I was trying to get a cassette out of the tape player (it had become stuck) - I tried to release the plastic plate (small black screws) and this activated the high pitch alarm and now I can't stop it (and can't drive my car because of the noise) - can you help - how can I switch it off?

0 Quick update - after several days of not using the car - the car battery ran down completely. After jump starting the car all sees to have reset itself and fingers crossed, no sign of the high pitch alarm

0 What I have done is disconencted the car battery. The alarm is still producing the high pitch. Hopefuly the back up will power supply will run down, and the radio reset itself. When I reconect the car and it works I will respond
