CONNECTING A
PORTABLE CD/MD/MP3

EQUIPMENT
1 Press PWR to turn the unit on.
2 If a cassette is inserted, remove it to
prevent possible damage to the unit.
3 Connect a portable CD/MD/MP3 player,
etc. via the AUX IN jack (3.5-mm dia.) of
the unit.
4 Press FUNC repeatedly to select AUX
IN mode to output sound received from
the connected equipment.
The “AUX” indicator lights up.
The clock display appears.

instructions for that equipment.

Returning to the factory settings
Adjusted settings of VOL, BASS, TRE, BAL,
FAD, H-BASS, and source level can be returned
to the factory settings with a simple operation.
1 With the unit off, press and hold DISP
for more than 2 seconds.
The “LA--” indication appears, and all sound
settings are returned to the factory settings.
