SYMPTOM CAUSE REMEDY
No Power The car ignition is not on. If the power supply is properly connected to the
car accessory terminal, switch the ignition key
to the ACC position.
The fuse is blown Replace the fuse.
Disc cannot be loaded or ejected. CD already in player Remove the disc and insert new one.
CD inserted upside down. Insert the CD with label facing up.
CD extremely dirty or defective. Clean the CD and/or replace it with a new one.
Vehicle interior temperature too high. Reduce the temperature using air conditioning
controls.
High condensation. Leave the player off for an hour or so, then try
again.
No Sound. Volume is set at minimum. Adjust volume to desired level.
Wiring is not properly connected. Check wiring connections.
Sound Skips. Installation angle exceeds 30 degrees. Readjust the installation to less than 30
degrees.
CD extremely dirty or defective. Clean the CD and/or replace it with a new one.
Skip protection circuit not operating correctly Contact manufacturer for corrective action.
Operational controls/buttons not working. Built-in microcomputer not operating properly. Remove the front panel and press the RESET
button.
Front panel not properly engaged/installed. Make sure panel is properly affixed to front
mounting plate.
Contacts between panel and main unit are dirty. Clean contacts with a cotton swab soaked in
isopropyl alcohol.
The radio does not receive properly. The antenna cable is not connected or Insert the antenna cable plug firmly into the
improperly connected. radio antenna connector.
Station preset selection(s) not Received signals too weak. Select stations manually.
