Playback of recorded traffic
announcements
When the TIM function is activated, all
incoming traffic announcements of the
last station listened to are automatical-
ly saved. If the last station listened to is
no longer receivable, the unit automati-
cally retunes to a new station.
➮ Press the TIM button @.
The time and the number of recorded
traffic announcements appears on the
display. The latest announcement is al-
ways allotted the lowest number.
Note:
If there are no announcements in the
memory, “NO TIM” appears on the dis-
play. If an announcement is more than
four minutes long, “OVERFLOW” ap-
pears on the display.
Selecting a traffic announcement
➮ Press the or button : during
TIM playback in order to select be-
tween the announcements record-
ed.
Fast Search (audible)
To start a fast search backwards or for-
wards,
➮ hold down one of the buttons
: until the fast search backwards
or forwards begins.
Altering the TIM standby time
TIM standby continues for two hours
after the car radio has been switched
off and can be extended to 24 hours.
➮ Activate the TIM function.
➮ Switch the car radio off using but-
ton 3.
“TIM 2H” appears on the display.
➮ Hold down the TIM button @ for
more than two seconds while “TIM
2H” is visible on the display.
“TIM 24H” appears on the display.
Note:
To protect your vehicle battery, the ex-
tended TIM standby time can only be
set until the next time the car radio is
switched on.
