Benefits of the RDS-TMC Tuner
The KW-NX7000 and KD-NX5000 feature a
built-in RDS-TMC tuner for important real-time
traffic updates. Working directly through the
vehicle’s existing antenna, there is no need to
purchase additional equipment. RDS Technology
has been used in many vehicles, and for
navigation, this same data network provides
on-screen traffic information such as:
TRAFFIC FLOW
• Shows relative traffic speeds
on selected highways
• Helps to calculate accurate
travel time
• Allows the ability to reroute
around high-traffic areas
TRAFFIC EVENTS
