You can select the display mode of this unit.
Display and setting:
"Display Type A" : Divide the display into the upper and lower
parts to separately provide different
information. (Vertical division display)
(page 10/11/12) (Default setting)
"Display Type B" : The display will turn on by using only the
upper part of the display and clock.
"Display Type C" : Use the entire display to provide a single
type of information. (Full screen display)

Switching Display Mode
You can switch the colour of the button illumination between
green and red.
Display and setting:
"Button Color Green"/"Button Green" :
The colour of the illumination is green.
"Button Color Red"/"Button Red" :
The colour of the illumination is red.

Adjusting Time Automatically:
Tune into an RDS station for 3 or 4 minutes.
The time adjusts automatically to the correct local time.
The time is not adjusted when the RDS station you are tuned to
is not transmitting a time signal. Choose another RDS station in
such a case.
NOTE
Function of the KDC-PS9590R/KDC-9090R
With automatic time adjustment, you can set the clock time
automatically according to time data sent from RDS stations
(after receiving RDS signals for several minutes). You can also
set the time manually if the automatic time adjustment
function is turned off.
Display and setting:
"SYNC ON" : Automatic time adjustment (Default setting)
"SYNC OFF" : Manual time adjustment

Selecting the character
Press the FM and AM button.
Press the MENU button to end the Memo Mode.
The text you selected automatically appears on the date you set
when the unit’s power is first turned on. (Calendar function)
Pressing the DISP button for one second or more scrolls the
display once, regardless of the text scroll setting.
Pressing a button other than the DISP button will cause the text
to disappear from the display.
You can enter up to 32 characters for each text.
The calendar function can be set up to 30 cases.
To delete the date and text setting, set both the month and day
of the date to "00" or set all of the text to blanks.
