INPUT
Connectpreampsignalcablesfromtheheadunittotheseterminals.
OUTPUT
Providesafullrangesignalforanadditionalamplier.Thereisnosignal
lossifusingthisoutput.
CROSSOVER FREQUENCY
Controlsthelowpasscrossoverpointforthespeakeroutputs.
BASS BOOST
Variablebassboostfrom0to+18dB@45Hz.
LOW PASS LEVEL CONTROL (LPL)
Thisportisforconnectingtheoptionalremotelevelcontrol(LPL44).This
allowsupto20dBofvolumeadjustment.Thisisnotabassboost,it
controlsthelevelofthelowpasssignal.
REMOTE MONITORING DISPLAY (RMD)
ConnectoptionalRMDVoltageDisplaytothisport
LEVEL
Usedtoreachmaximumamplierpowerwithawidevarietyofheadunits.
SUBSONIC CROSSOVER FREQUENCY
Controlsthehighpasscrossoverpointforthespeakeroutputstoeliminateextreme
lowfrequencies.
PEAK INDICATOR
Lightswhentheamplierreachesnearmaximumoutput.Undernormal
operationthepeakindicatorshouldbeashingduringthepeaksofthe
music.Peakindicatorshouldnotstaylitforlongperiodsoftime(more
than2or3seconds),ifthisisthecaseyouneedtoreducesystemvolume
orleveloftheamplier.
PROTECT INDICATOR
Lightsredifthereisaproblemwiththeaudiosystem.Forexample,speakerwireis
pinched/shortedtogetherortheamplierisrunningtoolowofanimpedance.
12V+
Thismustbeconnectedtothefusedpositiveterminal(+12V)ofthecar’s
battery.Thefusemustbelocatedwithin18inchesofthebattery.
REMOTE
Thismustbeconnectedtoswitched+12V,usuallyatriggerwirecoming
fromtheheadunitorignition.
GND
Thismustbeconnectedtothenegativeterminalofthecar’sbatteryor
boltedtoaclean,unpaintedpartofthechassisofthevehicle.
SPEAKER OUTPUTS
Usedtoconnecttheampliertospeakers.Minimumimpedanceis1ohm.
