• Before using this product, carefully read this manual and retain it for future reference.
Read also the PSP™ system instruction manual, especially the Warnings and
Precautions sections.
• This product is exclusively for use with the PSP™ system. Do not attempt to use it with
any other device.
• This product can only be used in negative-grounded vehicles with a 12 or 24 volt DC
battery. Note that it cannot be used in positive-grounded vehicles. For details on your
vehicle’s grounding and battery type, refer to the owner’s manual for your vehicle.
Precautions
Safety
• Do not touch the car adaptor with wet hands, as this may result in electrical shock.
• Do not touch the plug and socket during a lightning storm.
• Regularly inspect for damage and dust build-up.
• Stop use immediately if the product functions in an abnormal manner, produces unusual
sounds or smells or becomes too hot to touch.
• If the product does not function properly, disconnect it from the vehicle’s power socket
immediately, and contact the PSP™ service line at the number listed on your warranty
card for assistance.
Car safety
• Never use the PSP™ system while operating a vehicle or when seated in the front
passenger seat. Only back seat passengers should use this product.
• Make sure that the product and its parts, such as the car adaptor cord, do not interfere in
any way with the driver’s operation of the vehicle.
• Do not use the PSP™ system in such a way that it could distract the driver.
• Observe all laws governing the use of portable devices in vehicles.
• Make sure that the PSP™ system will not interfere or cause injury if the air bag system
is deployed.
• Never leave children unattended in a vehicle, whether playing with the PSP™ system or not.
Health
To help prevent low temperature burns* or other personal injury, avoid prolonged
physical contact with the car adaptor or PSP™ system during use.
*Low-temperature burns are burns that occur when the skin is in contact with objects of
relatively low temperatures (40°C or more/104°F or more) for an extended period of time.
Use and handling
• Do not expose the car adaptor to high temperatures, high humidity or direct sunlight, or
to extreme cold (use in an environment where temperatures range 5°C - 35°C/41°F -
95°F).
•Avoid touching the connectors of the car adaptor with metal objects as this may cause a
short circuit.
• Do not leave the PSP™ system turned on in an unattended vehicle.
• Never disassemble or modify the car adaptor.
• Do not allow liquid or small particles to get into the adaptor, plug or DC IN 5V
connector.
• Do not put heavy objects on the car adaptor.
• Do not twist the car adaptor cord, or pull it forcibly.
• Do not throw or drop the car adaptor, or subject it to strong physical shock.
• Do not cover or wrap the car adaptor, as doing so may cause heat to build up internally.
• Keep the system and car adaptor out of the reach of small children. Small children may
wrap the car adaptor cord around themselves, which may inflict injury or cause an
accident or a malfunction.
• Do not expose the PSP™ system or accessories to dust, smoke or steam.
• When this product or its packing materials are no longer needed, follow the instructions
of the local authorities to dispose of it properly.
Connecting the car adaptor
• Make sure that the vehicle’s engine is running before inserting the plug into the power
socket.
• Connect the car adaptor directly to the vehicle’s power socket. Do not use extension
cords, as these may cause the car adaptor cord to become hot, resulting in fire or
personal injury.
• Insert the plug all the way into the vehicle’s power socket. If the plug is not fully
inserted, the product may become excessively hot.
Disconnecting the car adaptor
• Disconnect the car adaptor from the vehicle’s power socket when not in use. Failure to
do so may result in fire or damage to the vehicle.
• Do not leave the car adaptor connected to the vehicle’s power socket when the vehicle’s
ignition is switched off, as this could drain the vehicle’s battery.
• For best results disconnect the plug of the car adaptor from the power socket before the
vehicle’s ignition is switched off.
• When disconnecting the car adaptor from the vehicle’s power socket, pull it out by
grasping the plug. Pulling on the cord may damage the cord, and result in fire or
electrical shock.
Cleaning the car adaptor
• For safety reasons, before cleaning the car adaptor, disconnect it from the vehicle’s
power socket.
• If the car adaptor becomes dirty, wipe it clean with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use solvents
or other chemicals.

• 본 제품은 PSP™ 전용입니다. 다른 기기에는 사용하지 마십시오.
• 본 제품은 음극이 접지된 12V 혹은 24V의 배터리가 장착된 자동차에서만 사용할 수
있습니다. 양극이 접지된 자동차에서는 사용할 수 없으므로 주의해 주십시오. 본 제
품을 사용하실 자동차의 접지와 배터리 유형에 대한 자세한 내용은 자동차의 사용설
명서를 참조해 주십시오.
안전
• 젖은 손으로 카 어댑터를 만지지 마십시오. 감전의 원인이 됩니다.
• 천둥 번개가 치면 플러그와 소켓에 손대지 마십시오.

자동차 안전
• 자동차를 운전 중이거나 조수석에 앉은 경우 절대로 PSP™를 사용하지 마십시오.
본 제품은 뒷좌석에서만 사용해 주십시오.
• 본 제품이나 케이블 등이 운전에 방해가 되지 않도록 주의해서 사용해 주십시오.
• 운전자의 운전에 방해가 되지 않도록 PSP™를 사용해 주십시오.
• 자동차에서의 휴대용 기기 사용에 관련된 모든 법률적 지시에 따라 주십시오.
• PSP™가 차량용 에어백의 작동에 방해가 되거나 부상의 원인이 되지 않도록 주의해
주십시오.
• PSP™의 사용 여부와 관계없이 절대로 어린이를 차 안에 혼자 남게 하지 마십시오.
건강상의 주의
사용중인 PSP™ 본체나 카 어댑터에 장시간 피부를 접촉하지 마십시오.
저온 화상*의 원인이 될 수 있습니다.
*저온 화상은 비교적 낮은 온도(약 40°C 이상)의 물체에 장시간 피부를 접촉한 채로 있을
때 일어나는 화상을 말합니다.
사용과 취급
• 카 어댑터를 고온, 다습, 직사광선, 극한 추위 등에 노출시키지 마십시오(허용 온도는
5°C - 35°C입니다.)
• 카 어댑터의 커넥터에 금속류를 접촉시키지 마십시오. 합선의 원인이 될 수 있습니다.
• 아무도 없는 차 안에 PSP™를 켜둔 채로 방치하지 마십시오.
• 카 어댑터를 절대 분해하거나 개조하지 마십시오.
• 어댑터, 플러그, DC IN 5V 단자에 수분이나 이물질이 들어가지 않도록 주의해 주십
시오.
• 카 어댑터 위에 무거운 물건을 얹지 마십시오.
• 카 어댑터의 코드를 비틀거나 심하게 당기지 마십시오.
• 카 어댑터를 던지거나 떨어뜨리거나 강한 충격을 주지 마십시오.
• 카 어댑터를 덮거나 감싸지 마십시오. 내부 발열의 원인이 됩니다.
• PSP™와 카 어댑터는 유아의 손이 닿지 않는 곳에 두십시오. 코드를 감거나 하여
부상, 사고, 제품 고장의 원인이 될 수 있습니다.
• PSP™ 및 주변기기는 먼지, 연기, 증기 등에 노출시키지 마십시오.
• 본 제품 및 포장재를 폐기할 때에는 각 지방 자치단체에서 정한 폐기 규정에 따라
주십시오.

카 어댑터 연결
• 플러그를 시거 소켓에 삽입하기 전에 자동차의 시동이 걸려 있는지 확인하십시오.
• 카 어댑터를 자동차의 시거 소켓에 직접 연결하십시오. 연장 코드는 사용하지 마십시
오. 카 어댑터의 코드가 뜨거워지거나 화재, 부상의 원인이 될 수 있습니다.
• 자동차의 시거 소켓에 플러그를 완전히 꽂습니다. 완전히 꽂히지 않은 경우 제품이
과도하게 뜨거워질 수 있습니다.
카 어댑터 분리
• 사용하지 않을 때는 카 어댑터를 자동차의 시거 소켓에서 분리해 주십시오. 꽂아둔
채로 방치하면 화재나 자동차 손상의 원인이 될 수 있습니다.
• 자동차의 시동이 꺼져 있을 때는 시거 소켓에서 카 어댑터를 분리해 주십시오. 꽂아
둔 채로 방치하면 자동차 배터리가 방전될 수 있습니다.
• 자동차의 시동을 끄기 전에 시거 소켓에서 카 어댑터의 플러그를 뽑아두는 것이 가장
좋습니다.
• 카 어댑터를 시거 소켓에서 분리할 때는 플러그를 잡고 당겨 주십시오. 코드를 잡아
당기면 코드가 손상되거나 감전, 화재의 원인이 될 수 있습니다.
카 어댑터의 손질
• 안전을 위하여 손질하기 전에 자동차의 시거 소켓에서 카 어댑터를 분리해 주십시오.
• 카 어댑터가 더러운 경우에는 부드러운 마른 천으로 깨끗이 닦아 주십시오. 솔벤트
등 기타 화학약품은 사용하지 마십시오.
