Sethigh/lowalarmlimitsandthemeterwillaudiblyandvisuallyalerttheuserifeitherlimitis
exceeded.Tosetthealarmvalues,followthesesteps:
1. PresstheALARM/SETbuttononcefromthenormaloperatingmode;theupperlimitvalue
anditssymbol(uparrow)willflash.
2. Set
thetemperaturelimitbypressingthe▲button(pressandholdforfastscrolling).
3. NowusetheMAX/MINbuttontoactivate/deactivatethealarm(alarmsymbolwillappear
intheupperrighthandcorneroftheLCDwhenactivated).
4. VerifythesettingbypressingALARM/SET.
5. Performthesame
stepsforthelowalarmlimit.
Aftersettingthealarms,theupperandlowerlimitsymbols(▲▼)willbedisplayedontheLCD
indicatingthat an upperand a loweralert value has beenset. Ifthe measuredtemperature
exceedseitherlimit,thealarmbeeperwillsoundfor1minute.
Thealarmbeepericonandthe
correspondingarrowwillflash.Pressinganybuttonwillswitchoffthealarm.
Whenthetemperaturereturnstothedesiredrangetheaudiblealarmwill stopsounding.The
arrowwillremainflashinghowevertoshowthatthetemperaturewashigherorlowerthanaset
valueatleastonceinthepast.Pressthe▲buttontoswitchOFFtheflashingarrow.
