SETTING YOUR LOCAL AREA CODE
The telephone uses the programmed area
code to determine the number format to
display when a valid Caller ID signal is
received and is also used for the Dialback
feature.
1. Press the OPTIONS button.

2. Press the REVIEW up or down buttons
until
LOCAL AREA CODE
appears.
3. To enter and change the area code, press
OPTIONS again. The display shows the
present area code stored. The left-most
digit or a minus sign (-) flashes, indicat-
ing it is ready to accept the area code
entry.
4. Press 1-9 on the key pad for the first digit.
To clear the digit, press either * or #.
5. When the desired digit is flashing, press
either REVIEW button to advance to the
next digit.
