D. Connect one end of the network
cable to the Ethernet port of the
Gaming Adapter.
E. Connect the other end of the
included network cable to the
Ethernet port of your DIRECTV
Receiver. (If the DIRECTV
Receiver has dual ports, connect
the cable to the top port.)
F. Wait until the Ethernet LED of
the Gaming Adapter lights up.
:NOTE 7 Do not stack any devices on top of the Gaming Adapter;
otherwise, they may interfere with its wireless performance.
Wait for two minutes to let the DIRECTV Receiver establish a G.
connection with the Gaming Adapter.
During this time, a pop-up window may appear, asking you to set up
now or later; do NOT make a selection at this time.
After two minutes, if the pop-up window remains, select H. Set Up Now
to continue. The pop-up window should disappear. You should now be
connected to the Internet.
To verify connection to the Internet, press the I. Menu button on your
DIRECTV Remote. Go to Parental, Fav’s & Setup > System Setup >
Network > Repeat Setup.
