Part names and functions
Remote control
q Super Audio CD player power button (X CD)
This turns the power on/o (Standby) (vpage13).
w MENU button
This displays the menu (vpage24).
e Remote control mode button (CD MODE)
This switches the remote control operating mode to CD
(vpage26).
r Cursor buttons (uio p)
These select items (vpage18, 19, 24).
t ENTER button
This determines the selection (vpage18, 19, 24).
y Information display button (INFO)
This switches the track information shown in the display
during playback (vpage15).
u Input source select button (DISC/INPUT)
This switches the input source (vpage13).
i Pause button (3)
Pauses playback (vpage14, 18, 19).
o Reverse-skip/Forward-skip buttons (8, 9)
This skips to the start of the track. Press and hold to fast-
forward/fast reverse (vpage14, 18, 19).
Q0 Playback button (1)
Starts playback (vpage14, 18, 19).
Q1 Stop button (2)
Stops playback (vpage14, 18, 19).
Q2 RANDOM button
This switches random playback on/o (vpage16, 19).
Q3 PROGRAM button
This sets program playback (vpage16).
Q4 Number buttons (0 – 9, +10)
These select tracks by specifying the track number
(vpage14).
Q5 FILTER button
This switches the filter characteristics (vpage23).
Q6 SOUND MODE button
This switches the playback layer or area of a Super Audio
CD (vpage13).
Q7 Disc tray open/close button (OPEN/CLOSE)
Opens and closes the disc tray (vpage14).
Q8 REPEAT button
Switches the repeat playback (vpage15, 19).
Q9 CLEAR button
This clears the program registration (vpage16).
W0 DISPLAY button
This switches the display on/o (vpage15).

To operate CD, press the CD MODE button to switch the
remote control to the CD operation mode.
