WARNING! Never use the torch while it is raining, the glass tube could crack or break causing serious
injury.
WARNING! Ensure burner controls are in the o posion. Slowly turn on the gas supply valve.
1. Turn burner control to ‘LIGHT’
posion.
2. Press and hold igniter buon unl
pilot lights, or light by match.
(check for pilot ame through glass
tube)
3. Once pilot is lit, keep control knob
depressed for 15 seconds and then
turn control knob to ‘LOW’.
4. If ignion is not immediate, turn
burner control o. Wait 5 minutes.
Repeat.
5. For maximum heat turn control
knob to ‘HIGH’
6. To turn o the pao torch, turn the
control knob to the ‘OFF’
posion and then turn the gas supply
o at the source.
WARNING! The propane cylinder is equipped with an excess ow device. Unless burners are turned
o, prior to turning the cylinder on, only small ames and low heat will be achievable.
WARNING! If lighng the unit with a match, clip the match into the supplied lighng rod.
Hold the lit match through the hole in the boom or front of the control box while turning the
burner valve to high.
