ItisimportanttooperatethisEVMwithintheinputvoltagerangeof0to32Vandtheoutput
voltagerangeof15Vto20V.
Exceedingthespecifiedinputrangemaycauseunexpectedoperationand/orirreversibledamage
totheEVM.Iftherearequestionsconcerningtheinputrange,pleasecontactaTIfield
representativepriortoconnectingtheinputpower.
Applyingloadsoutsideofthespecifiedoutputrangemayresultinunintendedoperationand/or
possiblepermanentdamagetotheEVM.PleaseconsulttheEVMUser'sGuidepriorto
connectinganyloadtotheEVMoutput.Ifthereisuncertaintyastotheloadspecification,please
contactaTIfieldrepresentative.
Duringnormaloperation,somecircuitcomponentsmayhavecasetemperaturesgreaterthan
75°C.TheEVMisdesignedtooperateproperlywithcertaincomponentsabove75°Caslongas
theinputandoutputrangesaremaintained.Thesecomponentsincludebutarenotlimitedto
linearregulators,switchingtransistors,passtransistors,andcurrentsenseresistors.Thesetypes
ofdevicescanbeidentifiedusingtheEVMschematiclocatedintheEVMUser'sGuide.When
placingmeasurementprobesnearthesedevicesduringoperation,pleasebeawarethatthese
devicesmaybeverywarmtothetouch.
