If four traffic messages have been record-

has not been reset after the last interruption
of the power supply.

TIM standby mode while the ra-
dio is switched off
The TIM standby mode is active if the dis-
play shows “TIM ON” when switching off the
radio.
In this case the radio will record all traffic
bulletins broadcast by the tuned in station
for three hours after having turned off the
set. During this period a motor antenna will
remain extracted.
The set will also record the traffic informa-
tion broadcast for 90 minutes before and
after the programmed TIM times. During
these periods a motor antenna will also re-
main out.
Deactivating the TIM standby
mode
The standby mode will be automatically
switched off if the car radio is not turned on
within 72 hours. Switching the set back on
reactivates the standby function.
You can deactivate the TIM standby mode
separately for TIMER 1 and TIMER 2.
Press DSC when the radio is on.
Use the rocker switch
/ to select
“TIMER 1” or “TIMER 2”.
Then press the button and switch to
“TIM OFF” by means of the rocker

tween the clock settings for 23:00 and

If you wish to deactivate both timers, pro-
ceed in the same way to switch the other
timer to “TIM OFF” as well.
Press DSC.
Now the TIM standby mode is inactive.
After having switched off the radio, the dis-
