If it appearsthat your DVD unit isfaulty, please first consultthis checklist. It may be that
something simple hasbeen overlooked.
Under no circumstancesshould you try to repairthe player yourself, as thiswill void the
warranty. Onlyqualified service personnel may remove the cover or service this player.

If the powersupply is connected to thecar accessory circuits, but theengine is not
turned on, switchthe ignition key to “ACC.”
Check if thefuse is blown. Replace witha new fuse if necessary.
Check if thePOWER button on the frontof the player is setto ON.
Check if themonitor or TV isswitched ON.
Check if selectproper mode has been selected(such as Disc Play modeorAV mode).
Check the videoconnections.
Check the discfor fingerprints and clean itwith soft cloth, wiping fromcenter to the
edge.
Sometimes a smallamount of picture distortion maybe present. This isnot a
malfunction.
The disc formatis not the same asthe TV-set used (PAL/NTSC). Select the proper
setting in theTV SYSTEM menu.

Be sure thatthe disc label faces up.
Clean the disc.
Check if thedisc is defective by tryinganother disc.
Check the audioconnections.

Inspect or replacethe remote control battery.

Check the DigitalAudio menu tomake sure that the digitaloutput is correctly set.
Check if theaudio format of the selectedaudio language matches your receiver’s
capabilities.
Press Reset buttonon the front panel ofthe DVD unit.
