5. Reliable earthing (grounding) — Maintain reliable
grounding of rack-mounted equipment. Pay particular
attention to supply connections other than direct
connections to the branch circuit (such as the use of power
strips).
Rack mounting procedure
These distribution ampliers can be mounted on any of the
following rack shelves:
RSF 123 (part # 60-190-20) 1U 3.5" VersaTools

RSB 123 (part # 60-604-21) 1U 3.5" VersaTools basic rack shelf
RSU 126 (part # 60-190-10) 1U 6" rack shelf kit
RSB 126 (part # 60-604-11) 1U 6" basic rack shelf
RSU 129 (part # 60-190-01) 1U 9.5" rack shelf kit
RSB 129 (part # 60-604-02) 1U 9.5" basic rack shelf
Use 2 mounting holes on
opposite corners.

Rack mounting the DVI DA2 or DVI DA4
To mount the distribution amplier on a rack shelf:
1. If necessary, remove rubber feet from the bottom of the
unit.
2. Align two diagonally opposite mounting holes on the
unit with two pre-drilled holes in the shelf. Use the two
provided 4-40 x 3/16" screws to secure the unit on the
shelf.
3. Install other unit(s) or false faceplate(s) on the rack shelf.
