5 Remove the memory module.
6 Tighten the screw on the memory bay cover.
To install a memory module
1 Follow steps 1 to 4 of “To remove a memory module.”
2 Remove the memory module from its packaging.
Removing memory module
✍ Your computer comes with a memory module installed in the memory slot. To
upgrade your memory, remove this module from the slot before installing your
upgrade memory module.
2 Pull the memory module in
the direction of the arrow.
1 Pull the tabs in the direction of the arrows.
The memory module is released.
