Setting the Language Font
Four types of font can be selected.
Demonstration
This unit has a demonstration feature for the display.
• To quit Demo mode, set to Demo OFF.
Setting Adaptive Steering Remote Control
This unit is compatible with the adaptive steering remote control.
This function allows operation by sending the steering remote control
signal to the unit.
To use the steering remote control, perform the following button
operations after setting to ON and pressing
/ENT

Select the assigned function by turning the Rotary
encoder.
(e.g. Select SOURCE)

Press the steering remote control button until the
changed signal value of steering remote control
appears in the left of the display.
(e.g. Press SOURCE of the steering remote control button.)
The changed steering remote control signal appears in the
left of the display.

Press /ENT to execute the setting value.
The confirmed signal value of steering remote control
appears in the right of the display. With doing so, the
function of the unit is assigned to the steering remote
control button.

Repeat steps 1 to 3, and set each button.
When settings have been completed, press /ESC to
return to the previous mode.
Display is selected on the setup main menu in step 2.
Changing Lighting Colour
Illumination TYPE 1 (Initial setting) / TYPE 2 / TYPE 3
You can change the lighting colour of the following six buttons.
SOURCE/ , BAND/TA, , , , .
Dimmer Control
Set the Dimmer control to Auto to decrease the illumination brightness
of the unit with the head lights of the vehicle ON. This mode is useful if
you feel the unit’s backlighting is too bright at night.
• If your vehicle should have a dimmer control for the dashboardlights,
never connect the DIMMER cable (orange) of the radio to this
dimmer control.
Dimmer Level Setting
In the Dimmer Level setting, three levels are available, the highest level
(Lev3) being the dimmest when the car headlights are on.
Language 1 (Initial Setting) / Language 2 / Language 3 / Language 4
Language 1 : Normal Font
Language 2 : European Font
Language 3 : Russian Font
Language 4 : East European Font
Demo ON / Demo OFF (Initial setting)

Display Setting
TYPE 1 : When the colour of the six buttons is blue,
the colour of the other is blue.
TYPE 2 : When the colour of the six buttons is blue,
the colour of the other is red.
TYPE 3 : When the colour of the six buttons is red, the
colour of the other is red.
