Function setting
iPod Settings
25 Skip Search: “Skip Search” “0.5%”, “1%”, “5%”,
“10%”
Sets the ratio of skip performed with <Skip
Search> (page 10).
26 My Playlist Delete: “My Playlist Delete”
Deletes the songs registered in My Playlist.
Turn the Control knob to select “YES” and then
press the [ENTER] button to delete My Playlist.
AUX Settings
27 Name Set: “Name Set” “AUX”, “DVD”,
“PORTABLE”, “GAME”, “VIDEO”, “TV”
Sets the display when switched to AUX source.
Initial Settings
28 Source Select Mode: “SRC Select” “1”, ”2”
Sets the source selection method.
29 Beep: “Key Beep” “ON”, “OFF”
Setting the operation check sound (beep sound)
ON/OFF.
30 Built in AUX: “Built-in AUX” “ON”, “OFF”
Sets whether to display AUX during source
selection.
31 CD Read: “CD Read” “1”, ”2”
Sets the method for reading CD.
When unable to play special format CD, set this
function to “2” to force playing. Note that some
music CDs may be unplayable even when set to
“2”.
In addition, audio files cannot be played when set
to “2”. Normally, keep this set to “1”.
1 : Automatically distinguishes between audio file
disc and music CD when playing disc.
2 : Forces playing as music CD.
32 Favorite Delete: “Favorite Delete” Preset No.,
”All”
Deletes Favorite Preset Memory.
Refer to <Deleting Favorite Preset Memory>
(page 15).
33 Built in Amp setting: “Built-in AMP” “ON”,
“OFF”
Selecting “OFF” turns off the built-in amplifier.
Turning off the built-in amplifier improves the
quality of the sound from Preout.
34 Speaker Select: “Speaker Select” “OFF”,
”5/4inch”, ”6x9/6inch”, ”O.E.M”
Fine-tuning so that the System Q value is optimal
when setting the speaker type as follows;
Speaker type Display
OFF “OFF”
For 5 & 4 in. speaker “5/4inch”
For 6 & 6x9 in. speaker “6x9/6inch”
For the OEM speaker “O.E.M”
35 Firmware Upgrade: “F/W Update #.##” “USB”,
”CD”
Upgrades the firmware.
Selecting “YES” and then pressing [ENTER] button
starts upgrading the firmware.
