Basic Operations
Press the [ ] button.
You can also use the [
] button on the CD receiver.
The CD receiver is turned on, and the display lights up.
Press the button again to turn it off (standby mode).
If your iPod/iPhone/iPad is connected to the CD
receiver in standby mode, “Charging” will appear on
the display of the CD receiver and the iPod/iPhone/iPad
will be charged.
With the Auto Standby function, you can set the CD
receiver so that it will be automatically turned off and
enter standby mode if there is no operation or audio
input for 20 minutes.
“Auto Standby” blinks one minute before the Auto
Standby function causes the unit to enter standby mode.
Note:
• If FM Mono is selected, the Auto Standby function
will be disabled.

Press the [MENU] button.
“Auto Standby>” will appear on the CD receiver's
display.

Press the [ENTER] button, then use the
[
]/[ ] buttons to select “On.”

Press the [ENTER] button.
To disable the Auto Standby function, select “Off” in
step 3.
You can select CD, USB, , DAB, FM, or LINE which
can be an external component.
To select the input source, use the remote controller’s
Input Selector buttons.
On the CD receiver, press the [INPUT] button
repeatedly. The input sources are selected in the
following order.
To adjust the volume, use the VOLUME [+]/[–]
buttons.
You can also use the CD receiver’s [+]/[–] buttons.
You can adjust the volume level in a range from 0 to 41,
and Max.
Press the [MUTING] button.
“Muting” appears on the display for a few seconds. The
MUTING indicator flashes continuously while the CD
receiver is muted. Press the button to unmute.
Tip:
• You can also unmute the unit by adjusting the
volume.
• Alternatively, set the unit to standby, then turn it on
again to cancel muting.
You can connect a pair of stereo headphones (ø3.5 mm,
1/8-inch phone plug) to the receiver’s headphones [ ]
jack for private listening.
Note:
• Always turn down the volume before connecting your
headphones.
• While the headphones plug is inserted in the
headphones [ ] jack, the speakers are turned off.

Press the [TONE] button repeatedly to
select “Bass” or “Treble.”
If S.Bass1 or S.Bass2 is selected, S.Bass will be
turned off, and Bass and Treble will recall the
characteristics you set before.

Use the [ ]/[ ] buttons to adjust the bass
or treble.
You can adjust the bass and treble in a range from
–4 to +4.

Press the [ENTER] button to revert to the
previous display.
Note:
• S.Bass cannot be simultaneously enabled with Bass
and Treble.
If you press the [TONE] button, S.Bass will be set to
off and the settings for Bass and Treble will become
effective.
