REAR INTERNAL CROSSOVER CONFIGURATION
The XTREME 600.4 use multi-position switches to determine the rear crossover configuration. The multi-position switch is located on the adjust-
ment side of the amplifier. Listed below are the switch positions and their respective crossover configurations.
When the switch is in the “OFF” position, the crossover section of the amplifier is bypassed. Amplifier output is full
range.
When the switch is in the center position, the crossover is configured for high-pass operation. The rear channels of
the XTREME 600.4 are continuously variable from 45Hz to 5kHz.
The RCA Input / 1 & 2 XVR push button switch configures the input for Channels 3 & 4. The feature allows the more
advanced crossover features of the front channels to be routed to both the front and rear channels. Configured in this
manner, INTELLiQ is now available on all channels of the amplifier as well as bandpass crossovers for midbass and
midrange speakers.
When the switch is disengaged, the rear RCA input feeds channels 1 & 2.
When the switch is engaged, channels 3 & 4 receive input signal from the output of channels 1 & 2 after the crossover
output. When the switch is in engaged, signal from the front RCA input is routed to the rear RCA inputs. The front gain
control controls the level of the entire amplifier. The rear gain controls are deactiviated.
