operations
1 Press MULTI-CONTROL to display the
main menu.
2 Use MULTI-CONTROL to select
FUNCTION.
Turn to change the menu option. Press to se-
lect.
3 Turn MULTI-CONTROL to select the
function.
REPEAT (repeat play)—RANDOM (random
play)—SCAN (scan play)—PAUSE (pause)—
SOUND RETRIEVER (sound retriever)
Function and operation
REPEAT, RANDOM, SCAN, PAUSE and
SOUND RETRIEVER operations are basically
the same as that of the built-in CD player.

REPEAT

However, the repeat play
ranges you can select are dif-
ferent from that of the built-in
CD player. The repeat play
ranges of the USB storage de-
vice are:
! TRACK – Repeatjust the
current file
! FOLDER– Repeat the cur-
rent folder
! ALL– Repeat all files
RANDOM
Refer to Playingtracks in ran-
dom order on page 16.
SCAN
Refer to Scanningfolders and
tracks on page 16.
PAUSE
Refer to Pausing playbackon
page 16.
SOUND RETRIEVER
Refer to UsingSound Retriever
on page 16.
Notes
! To return to the previous display, press
DISP/BACK/SCRL.
! To return to the main menu, pressand hold
DISP/BACK/SCRL.
! To return to the ordinary display, press
BAND/ESC.
! If you select another folder during repeatplay,
the repeat play range changes to ALL.
! If you perform track search or fast forward/re-
verse during TRACK, the repeat playrange
changes to FOLDER.
! When FOLDER is selected,it is not possible to
play back asubfolder of that folder.
! After file or folderscanning isfinished, nor-
mal playback of the files begins again.
