4. Service procedures
Never press (clear) button unless you want to erase the accessed data in memory. Follow
the procedure below only when erasing is necessary.
To erase accessed data, press the button.
When erasing is finished,“----” mark appears on the controller’s display.
After checking the alarm messages, be sure to press the button.

CAUTION
c Select R.C. No. which you want to execute the auto. address operation with
button.
d Press the button. The auto. address operation will start. CODE No. changes from
flashing to ON state.
e If an error occurs during operation, the alarm message will be displayed. Check and re-
move the cause. If you want to stop the operation, press the button then the unit
stands in waiting mode (Press the button again.)
f If the automatic address operation finishes, the display will disappear.
g Execute the operation of the other R.C. line in the same way by following the above steps
c to d .
(E) Execute the auto. address operation
Auto. address operation is executed by pressing the A. ADD (S1) button of out-
door unit’s PCB usually.
For your convenience it can be executed by remote controller also.
a Press the and ( ) buttons at the same time for more than 4 seconds. (Fig. IV-7)
b Set CODE No. A1 with , ( ) button.
In this mode, the auto. address
operation is executed at each R.C.
(Refrigerant Circuit) line one by one.
