Optimizing the quality of the sound output from the speakers
[SP Output Optimizer]
The player is equipped with the Digital Linear Phase Speaker feature to optimize the quality of
sound from the speakers.
The Digital Linear Phase Speaker feature achieves a precise localization of sounds by improving
the frequency-amplitude and phase characteristics.
Note
This function is effective for the supplied speakers only. If your player is not supplied with
speakers, set [SP Output Optimizer] to [Off].
Speaker bundled model is not available in some countries/regions.
1. From the Home menu, select
[Settings] [Music Settings] [SP Output Optimizer]
desired setting type.
Type Description
[SRS-
NWGT015]
Activates the [SP Output Optimizer] function when sounds output from the
speakers. The sound is optimized for SRS-NWGT015.
[Off]
Disables the [SP Output Optimizer] function and outputs normal sound from the
speakers.
Note
[SP Output Optimizer] is not applied to the sound output from the headphones.
[SP Output Optimizer] is effective for music, audio podcast and “SensMe™ Channels” only.
This function is not applied while playing a video, FM radio, or video podcast.
