4.6 Bluetooth Connection
Bluetooth is a short-range wireless communi-
cations technology that allows your device to
connect to other Bluetooth-enabled devices
over a wireless network. Bluetooth on your
device operates in three different modes:
Status Descriptions
On Bluetooth is turned on. Your device is enabled to detect
Bluetooth devices within range, but will not be found by
them.
Discoverable Bluetooth is turned on, and other Bluetooth devices can
detect your device.
Off Bluetooth is turned off. Your device cannot send and
receive data using Bluetooth.
4.6.1 Turn on Bluetooth and make the device discoverable

Touch the Home button │ Apps button │ Settings │ Bluetooth.

Enable the Bluetooth function by touching “ON” to turn on Bluetooth.
The Bluetooth icon appears in the status area of the system bar.
4.6.2 Pair with a Bluetooth device

Touch the Home button │ Apps button │ Settings │ Bluetooth. Ensure
Bluetooth has been enabled on the device you want to pair with, and
the device is in Discoverable state.

Touch SEARCH FOR DEVICES. Your device starts to scan for
Bluetooth devices within range and then displays all detected devices
below the AVAILABLE DEVICES list.

Detect more devices, touch Scan for devices.

Initiate a connection with a device; touch the name of the device.
