■ Memory scan operation
qPush several times to close a multi-func-
tion screen, if necessary.

tPush [F-1•MEMO] to start the memory scan.
•“ ” and decimal points blink while scan-

yWhen the scan detects a signal, the scan stops,
pauses or ignores it depending on the resume set-
ting and the squelch condition.
uTo cancel the scan, push [F-1•MEMO].
• Rotating the main dial also cancels the scan.

push [F-3•SELECT] again to return to memory scan,
if desired.
