2. Load the paper, aligning to the front side of the tray. If the
paper is preprinted, load the paper with the printed side facing
up and with the tab side to be fed first.
Loading Tab Paper into Trays
The following describes the procedures used for loading tab paper
into Trays 3 and 4 (below), Tray 5 (Bypass) page 8-13, and Tray 8
(Post-Process Inserter) page 8-15.
KEY POINT: Do not load paper exceeding the maximum fill line.
Doing so may cause paper jams and other printer problems.
Loading Tab Paper into Trays 3 and 4
1. Slowly pull out the tray towards you until it stops
WARNING: If the tray is pulled out with too much force, it can hit
and injure your knees.
