3. Put a zener diode (ZENER, MTZJ9, 1C) in place between the 4th
and 8th pins of the EEPROM (be careful to install it in the proper
direction).
∗∗∗∗ ∗∗∗∗∗The diode is already in place on models with Serial No.S 9C
or later.
