Multiple Channel Processor Operations
Selecting t.he DSF mode or the
P.EQ mode
1. Press the [A-M] button.
2. Touch the [STATUS] key to select “DSF” or
P.EQ”.
3. Touch the [DSF] or [P.EQ] to select a desired
mode and to set the mode thus selected.
4.
After setting, touch the [RNT] key or press the
[A-M] button to return to the previous mode.
DSF mode
DSF effect ON/OFF
The factory default setting is “OFF”.
1. Press the [A-M] button.
2. Touch the [DSF] key to select “on” and “off”.
3. Each time the [ON/OFF] key is touched, the
on and off statuses are switched alternately.
4. After the setting, press the [A-M] button
again or touch the [RTN] key to return to the
STANDARD screen.
Note:
If the DSF effect is set to OFF, the adjustment
made in “DSF” is not reflected in the music source.
Selecting the DSF type
1.
Press the [A-M] button and touch the [DSF] key.
2. Touch the key for the desirable type to select it.
3. When the setting is finished, touch the [RTN]
key or press the [A-M] button to return to the
previous mode.
P.EQ mode
P.EQ effect ON/OFF
The factory default setting is “OFF”.
1. Press the [A-M] button.
2. Touch the [P.EQ] key to select “on” and “off”.
3. Each time the [ON/OFF] key is touched, the
on and off statuses are switched alternately.
4. After the setting, press the [A-M] button
again or touch the [RTN] key to return to the
STANDARD screen.
Note:
If the P.EQ effect is set to OFF, the adjustment
made in “P.EQ” is not reflected in the music
source.
Setting and storing P.EQ Properties
1. Press the [A-M] button to show the AUDIO
MODE menu.
2. Touch the [P.EQ] key to show the P.EQ
adjusting display.
3.
Touch the key for the desirable type to select it.
The P.EQ adjustment contents are as
follows:
SIGNAL
The factory default setting is “P.NOISE”.
This function selects [P. NOISE] or [MUSIC].
SPEAKER SELECT
The factory default setting is “FRONT”.
This function selects [FRONT], [CENTER] or
[SURROUND].
“BAND”
The factory default setting is “BAND1”.
Select the channel to be compensated
(BAND1, BAND2, BAND3).
“FREQUENCY”
The factory default setting is “1 kHz”.
Select the center frequency that you want to
compensate from the range of 20 Hz to 20
kHz. (1/3 octave step, 31 points)
“Q”
The factory default setting is “1”.
Set the sharpness of the Q-curve to one of
the parameters: 1, 3, 5, 7 and 20.
“GAIN”
The factory default setting is “0”.
Adjust the gain (output level) in the range of -
12 dB to +12 dB. (1 dB step, 25 points)
4. After making adjustments to a desired
pattern by repeating the operations of item3,
touch the [RNT] key or press the [A-M]
button to return to the previous mode.
Selecting the Dolby PL

(Dolby Pro
Logic

) type
1. Press the [A-M] button and touch the [Dolby
PLII] key.
2.
Touch the key for the desirable type to select
it.
3. When the setting is finished, touch the [RTN]
key or press the [A-M] button to return to the
previous mode.
The factory default is “off”.
