Cleaning the Unit
If the faceplate of this unit is stained, wipe it with a
dry soft cloth such as a silicon cloth.
If the faceplate is stained badly, wipe the stain off
with a cloth moistened with neutral cleaner, then
wipe neutral detergent off.
• Applying spray cleaner directly to the unit may affect its
mechanical parts. Wiping the faceplate with a hard cloth
or using a volatile liquid such as thinner or alcohol may
scratch the surface or erases characters.
Cleaning the Faceplate Terminals
If the terminals on the unit or faceplate get dirty,
wipe them with a dry, soft cloth.
Cleaning the CD Slot
As dust tends to accumulate in the CD slot, clean it
every once in a while. Your CDs can get scratched if
you put them in a dusty CD slot.

Category and Channel Search
Select the category and channel you wish to
listen to.
1 Enter category and channel search mode
Press the [38] button.
2 Select the item (category or channel)
Press the [AUDIO] knob.
Each time the knob is pressed the search mode
switches category or channel.
3 Select the category or channel
Turn the [4] / [¢] knob.
4 Canceling category and channel search
mode
Press the [38] button.
• You cannot operate this function until all the Category
information is acquired.
