dures to set the function.
BSM (best stationsmemory)
BSM (best stationsmemory) automatically stores
the six strongeststations in theorder of their sig-
nal strength.
1 Press M.C.to turn BSMon.
Tocancel, press M.C. again.
LOCAL (localseek tuning)
Local seek tuninglets you tunein to only those
radio stationswith sufficiently strong signalsfor
good reception.
1 Press M.C.to display thesetting mode.
2 TurnM.C. to select thedesired setting.
FM: OFF—LEVEL1 —LEVEL 2—LEVEL 3—
LEVEL 4
AM: OFF—LEVEL1 —LEVEL 2
The highest levelsetting allows receptionof
only thestrongest stations, while lowerlevels
allow thereception of weaker stations.

SEEK MODE(seek mode)
Seek tuning settingcan be changedbetween digi-
tal station seek(HD) and analogstation seek
(ALL) dependingon the reception status.
1 Press M.C.to display thesetting mode.
2 TurnM.C. to select your favoritesetting.
ALL—HD
BLEND (receptionmode)
If a digitalbroadcast reception conditiongets
poor,this unit automatically switchesto the ana-
log broadcastof the same frequency level.If this
function is setto on, thetuner switches between
digital broadcastand analog broadcast automati-
cally.If this function isoff, receptionwill be con-
ducted withinan analog broadcast.
1 Press M.C.to turn thisfunction on or off.
Note
If SEEK MODE is set to HD and BLEND isset to
off, the tuner cannot receive broadcasts. In this
case, the seek mode or reception mode is
changed automatically as follows:
! When SEEKMODE is set toHD, if youswitch
BLEND fromon to off, SEEKMODE is changed
to ALL.
! When BLENDis set to off,if you switch
SEEK MODEfrom ALL to HD, BLENDis changed
to on.
