SUBWOOFER2 (subwoofer adjustment)
The cut-off frequencyand output levelcan be ad-
justed whenthe subwoofer output ison.
Only frequencieslower than those inthe selected
range are outputtedfrom the subwoofer.

2 Press M.C.to cycle betweenthe cut-off fre-
quency and outputlevel of thesubwoofer.

SLA (sourcelevel adjustment)
SLA (SourceLevel Adjustment) lets youadjust the
volume levelof each source toprevent radical
changes in volumewhen switching betweensour-
ces.
! Settings are basedon the FMvolume level,
which remains unchanged.
! The AM volumelevel can alsobe adjusted with
this function.
! When selecting FMas the source,you cannot
switch toSLA.
1 Press M.C.to display thesetting mode.
2 TurnM.C. to adjust thesource volume.

3 Press M.C.to confirm theselection.
Initial Settings
1 Press and hold S(SRC/OFF) until the unit
turns off.
2 Press M.C. and hold until function name
appears in the display.
3 Turn M.C. to selectthe initial setting.
After selecting, perform the following proce-
dures to set the initial setting.
CLOCK SET(setting the clock)
1 Press M.C.to display thesetting mode.
2 Press M.C.to select thesegment of the clock
display you wishto set.

3 TurnM.C. to adjust theclock.
AUX (auxiliary input)
Activate thissetting when using anauxiliary de-
vice connected tothis unit.
1 Press M.C.to turn AUXon or off.
USB (plug andplay)
This setting allowsyou to switchyour source to
USB/iPod automatically.
1 Press M.C.to turn theplug and play function
on or off.
ON Whena USB storagedevice/iPod iscon-
nected, depending onthe type ofdevice, the
source isautomatically switched to USB/iPod
when you turnon the engine.If you disconnect
your USB storagedevice/iPod, thisunits
source isturned off.
OFF Whena USB storagedevice/iPod iscon-
nected, the sourceis not switchedto USB/
iPod automatically. Pleasechange the source
to USB/iPodmanually.
SW CONTROL (rearoutput and subwooferset-
ting)
The rear speakerleads output andRCA output
can be usedfor full-range speaker orsubwoofer
connection.
If you switchto REAR-SP:SW, you can connecta
rear speakerlead directly to asubwoofer without
using anauxiliary amp.
Initially,REAR-SP is setfor rear full-range speaker
connection (FUL).
1 Press M.C.to display thesetting mode.
2 TurnM.C. to change theoutput and press to
select.

! Even if youchange this setting, therewill
be no outputunless you turnthe sub-
woofer output on(refer to SUBWOOFER1
(subwoofer on/off setting)on this page).
! If you changethis setting, subwoofer out-
put inthe audio menu willreturn tothe fac-
tory settings.
DEMO (demo displaysetting)
1 Press M.C.to turn thedemo display onor off.
SCROLL (scroll modesetting)
When ever scrollis set toON, recorded text infor-
mation scrolls continuouslyin the display.Set to
OFF if youprefer the informationto scroll just
once.
1 Press M.C.to turn theever scroll on oroff.
Using an AUX source
1 Insert the stereo mini plug into theAUX
input jack.
2 Press S(SRC/OFF) to select AUX as the
source.
Note
AUX cannot be selected unless the auxiliary set-
ting is turned on. For more details, refer to AUX
(auxiliary input) on this page.
Turning the clock display on
or off
% Press toturn the clock display on or
off.
# The clockdisplay disappears temporarily when
you perform otheroperations, but the clockdisplay
appears againafter 25 seconds.
