Function and operation
1 Display Phone FUNC.
Refer to Phone FUNC (phone function) on this
page.
2 Press M.C. to display the function
menu.
3 Turn M.C. to select the function.
After selecting, perform the following proce-
dures to set the function.
Auto ANSR(automatic answering)
1 PressM.C. toturn automatic answeringon oroff.
Ring tone(ring toneselect)
1 PressM.C. toturn thering tone onor off.
Audio Adjustments
1 Press M.C. to display the main menu.
2 Turn M.C. to change the menu option
and press to select AUDIO.
3 Turn M.C. to select the audio function.
After selecting, perform the following proce-
dures to set the audio function.
FAD/BAL(fader/balanceadjustment)
1 PressM.C. todisplay thesetting mode.
2 PressM.C. tocycle between faderand balance.
3 TurnM.C. toadjust the speakerbalance.
Adjustment range(front/rear): F-F15 toF-R15
Adjustment range(left/right): B-L15 toB-R15
! Select F-0when onlyusing two speakers.
! When therear outputsetting isSUBW,you
cannot adjustfront/rear speakerbalance.

1 PressM.C. todisplay thesetting mode.
2 TurnM.C. toselect an equalizercurve.

! When Flatis selectedno adjustments are
made tothe sound.
3 PressM.C. toconfirm theselection.
Graphic EQ(equalizer adjustment)
You canadjust thecurrently selectedequalizercurve
setting asdesired. Adjustedequalizercurvesettings
are storedin Custom1or Custom2.
! A separateCustom1 curve canbe created for
each source.If youmake adjustments whena
curveother thanCustom2 is selected,the equali-
zer curve settingswill bestored inCustom1.
! A Custom2curvethat iscommonfor allsources
can becreated. Ifyo u make adjustmentswhen
the Custom2curveis selected, theCustom2
curvewill beupdated.
