NOTE: The item (song or sub-folder) name will remain displayed for 5 seconds in steps
1 through 4 above. If no action is taken during this 5 second period, the display
will default back to the song currently playing.
5. Press ENTER to select the song to play or the next sub-folder. If entering a sub-fold-
er, return to step 3.
DOWN Button
When playing an MP3 track and the DOWN button is pressed, the player will take you
to the beginning of the same track as long as the playing track has been playing for more
than 10 seconds. If the track is within 10 seconds of its beginning, pressing the DOWN
button will take the player to the beginning of the previous track.
Direct Track Access
Direct Track Access allows any track to be immediately selected and played. This
method is faster than manually cycling through each track on the disc. MP3's work with
a three (3) digit access.
1. Press the T-ACC (AS–TRACK ACC) button once to select Direct Track Access mode.
2. Press the number, 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-0, to access the desired track on the disc.
EXAMPLE: Pressing the T-ACC (AS–TRACK ACC) button, then 021 takes you to track 21,
pressing 12 takes you to track 12 and so forth. Pressing just one (1) or two (2)
digits, 11, and the ENTER button will take you to track 11. Without pressing
ENTER, the system will go to the track after 5 seconds.
Direct Search
On this system, you can search the disk by title.
1. Press the T-ACC (AS–TRACK ACC) button twice (2 times) to enter into the search
mode. A "_" will flash on the display.
2. Turn the volume knob to select a character located in the title of the song you want.
3. Press the volume knob to select that character and move to the next. A maximum
of ten (10) characters can be selected.
NOTE: Pressing the volume knob when no character has been selected will give you a
space.
4. Press the BAND (Enter) button to find the first item on the disk with your selection.
If none are found, "NOT FOUND" will show on the display.
5. Use the DIR
(
DOWN) button to go forward through the list of items found.
6. Press the BAND (Enter) button to select that item.
EXAMPLE: Selecting the characters "RO" may find the words "ROmance" or "ROad".
Either could be in the title of a song or folder. Pressing the BAND (Enter) but-
ton will either select the folder or begin playing the song that matches your
selection. Narrow your selection by using more letters.
