SNOOZE button
After the on time is reached, use this button to turn
the unit off for 5 minutes.
BASS CONTROL knob
Use this control knob to adjust the bass level.
POWER switch
Press this switch to turn the unit on and off.
MEMORY/CLOCK ADJ button
Use this button to program tracks or to adjust the
clock.
FUNCTION button
Press this button repeatedly to select a function.
Select “CD” to play a disc.
Select “TUNER” to listen to the radio.
Select “AUX” to listen to the external sources
connected to the AUX input jacks.
TUNING button
Press this button up or down to tune in a station.

OPEN/CLOSE button (L)
Use this button to open and close the disc tray.
STOP button (H)
Use this button to stop playback.

BAND button
Use this button to select FM or AM.
DISPLAY button
Use this button to change the display mode.
TIMER/SLEEP button
Use this button to set the timer or sleep timer.
DIMMER button
Use this button to dim the display and unit lighting.
PHONES
Insert the headphones plug into the PHONES jack,
and adjust the volume.
Both stereo and monaural earphones can be used
with this unit.
Numeric buttons
SHUFFLE button
Use this button to select shuffle playback mode.
INTRO button
Use this button to start the Intro Check.
MUTING button
To cut the sound temporarily, press the MUTING
button. Press the MUTING button again to restore
the sound. If you change the volume during the
muting, the muting will be canceled.
BASS BOOST button
Press this button to switch bass boost on and off.
AUX IN jacks
Connect external sources to these jacks.
FM antenna terminal (with U.S.A./Canada and
General export models)
Connect lead-type FM antenna to this terminal.
FM feeder antenna (with EUROPE model)
Tune in an FM station and extend the lead to find the
best position for the reception. Then fix it to the wall
with thumb tacks or the like.
AC Power Cord
Plug this AC power cord into an AC wall socket.
