Deleting all CD names
You can delete all the CD names stored
in the car sound system.
➮ Listen to a CD.
➮ Press the MENU•OK button 7.
➮ Press the or button 6
repeatedly until “VARIOUS MENU”
appears on the display.
➮ Press the MENU•OK button 7.
➮ Press the or button 6 re-
peatedly until “CD NAME EDIT”
appears on the display.
➮ Press the MENU•OK button 7.
The name of the current CD is
displayed.
➮ Press and hold down the
MENU•OK button 7. After ap-
prox. four seconds you will hear a
beep and “DELETE NAME” ap-
pears on the display. Continue
holding the button pressed down
until you hear a second beep and
“DELETE ALL” appears on the dis-
play.
➮ Release the MENU•OK button 7.
The CD names will be deleted.
➮ To exit the menu, press the
MENU•OK button 7 and twice
DIS•ESC 5.
CLOCK time
Displaying the time
You can make the clock time appear
continuously in the bottom part of the
display while any audio source is acti-
vated. For further information, please
read the “Configuring the display” sec-
tions in the relevant chapters.
Setting the clock automatically
You can configure the system to set
the clock time automatically using the
RDS signal.
➮ Press the MENU•OK button 7.
➮ Press the or button 6
repeatedly until “CLOCK MENU”
appears on the display.
➮ Press the MENU•OK button 7.
➮ Press the or button 6
repeatedly until “CLOCK AUTO”
or “CLOCK MANUAL” appears
on the display.
➮ Select the “CLOCK AUTO” setting
using the
or
button 6.
➮ Press the MENU•OK button 7.
The menu appears again.
Setting the clock manually
To set the clock time manually,
➮ Press the MENU•OK button 7.
➮ Press the or button 6
repeatedly until “CLOCK MENU”
appears on the display.
➮ Press the MENU•OK button 7.
