Registering a remote control ID
When connecting the remote control KCA-RC107/
KCA-RC55MR (Optional accessory) to this unit, you
should register the ID for KCA-RC107/ KCA-RC55MR.
Select the Standby
Press the [SRC] button.
Select the “STANDBY” display.
Enter the Function setting mode
Press and hold the Control knob.
Select the Remote ID Set item
Select the following items using the Control
knob.
“Initial Settings” > “Remote Settings” > “Remote
ID Set”
A remote control ID list is displayed. “Yes” indicates
that this ID is already registered. “No” indicates that
this ID is available.
Enable registration of the remote control ID
Press the Control knob.
“Registing...” is displayed.
Register the remote control ID
For KCA-RC107/ KCA-RC55MR, press the
[ENTER] or [SRC] button.
Button Remote control ID
[ENTER] Registers ID1.
[SRC] Registers ID2.
“ID#Set:Completed” is displayed.
Exit the Function setting mode
Press and hold the [ ] button.

• When removing the KCA-RC107/ KCA-RC55MR, delete the
registered remote control ID as mentioned in <Delete the
remote control ID> (page 72).
Remote control (Optional accessory) setup
Delete the remote control ID
You can delete the ID registered for the remote
control KCA-RC107/ KCA-RC55MR (optional
accessory).
Select the Standby
Press the [SRC] button.
Select the “STANDBY” display.
Enter the Function setting mode
Press and hold the Control knob.
Select the Remote ID Delete item
Select the following items using the Control
knob.
“Initial Settings” > “Remote Settings” > “Remote
ID Delete”
List of the IDs registered for remote controls is
displayed.
Select the remote control ID to delete
Turn the Control knob to select a remote
control ID, and then press the Control knob.
“Remote ID Delete” is displayed.
Determine the selection
Turn the Control knob to select “YES”, and then
press the Control knob.
“Remote ID Delete:Completed” is displayed.
Exit the Function setting mode
Press and hold the [ ] button.
