Basic operations
Selecting a band
1 Press BAND/
until the desiredband (FM1,
FM2, FM3 forFM or AM) isdisplayed.
Manual tuning (stepby step)
1 Press c ord.
! When an analogstation is received, tuning
down operation isconducted within the
analog broadcasting. (6 d 2)
! If a digitalbroadcast is not yetreceived,
tuning-up operation tunesin the next ana-
log station.(2 d 6)
Seeking
1 Press and holdc or d, andthen release.
You can cancel seektuning by briefly pressing
c or d.
While pressing andholding c or d, you can
skip stations. Seektuning starts as soonas
you release cor d.

Notes
! If the program service name cannot be ac-
quired in FREQUENCY, the broadcast fre-
quency is displayed instead. If the program
service name is detected, the program serv-
ice name will be displayed.
! If the call sign cannot be acquired in
FREQUENCY, the broadcast frequency isdis-
played instead. If the call sign is detected,
the call sign will be displayed.
! Depending on the band, text information can
be changed.
! Text information items that can be changed
depend on the area.
